A serious read for anyone who finds themselves wrestling with God. This book was like a window to my soul. The author uses illustrations from his own life, from his pastorate and from scripture to describe our amazing God who Calls us to Himself. When the day of trouble comes where will you turn? My favorite passage: "As we struggle to understand and fearfully take God on, the promise is that we too will see his face. He does not give us the things we want. He does not give us explanations. He just gives us himself. In the church we call that discovery worship. And that, we believe, is the purpose of life."

This is an amazing book! I found it to be such a help when GOD INTERRUPTED big time in my life. Having been hit with the news of my mother having cancer and trying to graduate from college, I needed a little encouragement! READ this book...OWN this book...GIVE this book to people you care about!
