Open Doors International A Cry from Iran, DVD

Mehdi Dibaj had been imprisoned for 10 years when in 1993 a judge issued an official death sentence. Dibaj's only crime was converting from Islam to Christianity. A copy of the official execution order leaked to Haik Hovsepian, the leader of the Evangelical Christians in Iran. Haik, at peril to his own life, released the document and launched an international campaign to bring an end to the civil rights violations of the Iranian Islamic courts. International pressure mounted, and the Iranian government was forced to release Dibaj at the eleventh hour. But there is a price to pay.An award-winning, expertly documented story, A Cry from Iran includes hidden camera footage filmed in Iran during the actual events. This DVD has inspired viewers from all backgrounds. Approx. 54 minutes.

This film was shown at our church and it was an emotional story of relationship of the man with his family, his church, and his God. the film also results in an awakening call of all of living in America in freedom.
very well put together. it keep you awake and wonder what will happen next through out the whole movie.
Watch its trailer on ACryFromIran website and you'll see it for yourself.

This was not at all what I expected. I was expecting a documentary type "film." More informative about the situation/campaign. This is more like watching home videos put together to watch a story of a man's life and character. It is pretty dry. My teen sons lasted about 5 min, and my teen granddaughter made it about 3/4 of the way through but only because I told her it would count toward her Bible class for school.

I found the video to be very informative. It revealed the truth about the hardships endured by christians in the Middle East. The video warmed my heart and at times brought me to tears. I praise the Lord that there was a man like Haik to accomplish God's work in Iran. God bless his family and the many others whose family were affected by such blatent hate for the truth. I strongly reccomend this video to be played in all churches as a means of awaking christians to the freedom we have in north America to proclaim the gospel without fear. We must not take this freedom for granted and share the gospel at every opportunity.

I was bless to see this on TBN,it was like 2or3 in the morning. It woke me out of my sleep God must have wanted me to see this it did bring me to tears. This is powerful what this man of God has done! The sacrifice he made for his faith, family, and his life.He set a great example and we should all strive to be like he was.I agree we are very BLESSED to be AMERICANS.Iran is just one the many countries where Christians are persecuted for believing in God.If you are caught with the Holy Bible your life can be taken. To be able to serve God freely is a true blessing.Let us keep our Christian brothers and sisters in prayer all over the world. That God will protect and keep them safe in the name Jesus. This is a must have to share with all God Bless Haik's family.

This DVD is worth sharing with friends and family. I cried when I watched this DVD, it is a pity to see how the children of God were being persecuted for their faith. Through it all the power of God was at work because the more they persecuted the church is the more the church grew and more and more members were being added to the church. It is proof that the Holy Spirit cannot be destroyed nor does the Holy Spirit diminishes because of the fury of the oppressors. God is good all the time and I really admired the faith of all the believers in this documentary and the way that they were willing to die for their faith. We in America must give God all the praises because we are not persecuted for our faith. This is a must have DVD for all believers.
