The ornament is too heavy to use on my tree. I agree the music greatly resembles the greeting card music, which can be very annoying. It was not what I'd hoped for.

Looking for a gift to give to others at Christmas, this ornament was a great price to give away to multiple individuals. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with with quality of the painting (faces were blurred and slightly "scary" looking), and the poorly adhesed translucent plastic backer behind the nativity scene. Finally, the "Silent Night" musical feature worked when switched on, but the tune changed pictches at several points during the song, making it almost unrecognizable. I haven't had any problems with other Christmas items in the past, so this was unfortunate.

Pittiful musical ornament that was weak sounding and reminded me of one of those musical cards in it's sound. The painting of the ornament seemed botched too with dollops of paint for the eyes. It was made of resin so it was very heavy for a limb on a real tree. Needless to say, I sent these back for a $16 refund on the two and ate the $6 return shipping fee :-(

I think it is a little heavy for an ornament, but it is great piece to have sitting on a shelf or desk. I am pleased with the item.

These made great gifts for my little Sunday School girls. They were thrilled and the stars in their eyes when they opened them was worth every penny. How long they will last I wouldn't know but for the Christmas season they made wonderful little and meaningful gifts.

I bought 3 of these. One was for me so I took it out of the box (the other 2 are for Christmas gifts). At first the music box did not play and I found one of the batteries to be rusty. I cleaned it off and it works fine now. Just hope this is not the case with the ones I got as gifts. Perhaps this merchandise was left from last year in a warehouse subject to dampness.
