Augustine was sad; why was he beaten again today? He hated school even though he was always the first one to finish his lesson. Playing and fighting he loved very much. Would this boy ever become a bishop? Softcover, 93 pages. Recommended for ages 8 to 12.

I was hoping for an enlightening book about Augustine and his writing. Instead, I received an overly simplified book about his conversion and his mother. The language is dull and it was a chore to finish the chapters. I sent it back.

I always loved reading this book as a child. It is a very enjoyable book and teaches you a lot about this great man of faith.
