Losing a grandparent is often a child's first experience of grief and, as such, it can be very bewildering and painful. Let the elves in this book gently take the hand of your child to lead him or her through the grief experience. Explaining what happens from a child's-eye view, the book covers the difficult days before, after, and beyond a grandparent's death. It explores the meaning of death and heaven, while encouraging the child to connect with a beloved grandparent's spirit. With ideas for action and questions for discussion, it's comprehensive, comforting, and creative guide for any child grieving a grandparent.

Overall, the book is good, but I probably will not order this particular one again. It says that at the funeral, someone will read from holy books. I don't like that terminology. I want the kids that I am giving these books to know that there is one holy book-The Holy Bible.
