I purchased this book for our son, who is 4. The pictures keep him interested and the stories are short and to the point. It isn't as in depth as Bibles for older children but, as my husband says, it keeps your child engaged. It's not too complicated so they can learn a little from each story in the Bible. One aspect that I like it is breaks the Bible up into Old and New Testament sections. I'm happy with this purchases and think it's a great first Bible for our son.

What a wonderful book. I bought this book for my 3 year old and he absolutely loves it. The images are beautiful and the pages are so colourful. I'm very pleased with this Bible for young children.

My granddaughters were so excited to each have their own Bible. I suggested they leave one here at Nana's house and take one home, but NO, they both wanted to have their own to take home. They loved it. the pictures are beautiful and brings a reality to the stories. Plus they can read it on their own too and I pray that it will touch their Dad. They were so excited to tell their Dad, "God's real, you know, Dad".

I'm very sure this will be loved by my grandchildren, and I am very happy to have it for them. I will also be looking for a children's Bible, or any Bible with pictures, that conveys somewhat less of the modern "cartooned" styled drawings, and some of the more sober and awesome renderings of "the old days." I think it would take both styles to communicate more of the depth of our relationship to our Lord to these young and impressionable minds. Thank you.

The BEST Children's Bible

Our family loves this Bible. This was the first Bible all three of my daughters used. My youngest reads it everyday at lunchtime. We love the division of the Old and New Testaments, along with the artwork, and just the right amount of detail for little ones. My only complaint is the story of Esther (my daughters' all-time favorite) is not in there. So grateful for the biblical foundation it's provided for my girls!

I teach the preschoolers inour church. This is an excellent version for begining readers. The pictures are engaging and it is very easy to understand. They kids like them so much, I had to order more, (they were arguing over them.)

I bought this bible for my 3 year old. I like the fact that it contains stories from both the old and new testament. The text is also appropriate. I hope that this bible will last us until she is 6 or so. I have been so impressed with it that I have shared it with friends and family.

We bought this for a gift for my pre-K age child. He seems to like the pictures and the details of the stories are just enough to get him to ask questions. I like to discuss the stories with him and that gives us a good starting point.

The Read With Me Bible is my 5 year-old daughter's favorite Bible. The pictures are eye catching and colorful. the NIrV language is super for this 4 to 8 age group. It paraphrases enough for the kids to learn the stories and still grasp the higher concepts. Yet, is specific enough that it contains the quotes and memory verses we want our kids to know. Looking for a Bible that bridges the gap between toddler and study versions? This is it.
