This is an excellent 4 session Advent study for small groups or a large group on Sunday morning. If your group does homework between sessions, it's only about 20 minutes of homework each week. If you cover all the material in class, the leader can probably read or highlight the entire session. Each participant or couple should have their own copy. The author provides solid Biblical background and yet provides historical and cultural background, I had not studied before. Most importantly he provides relevant thought provoking questions for today, that gets the participant thinking beyond the sometimes shallowness of the season. I rated the product quality a 3 because it's not visually engaging. But don't be swayed by the lack of glitz. There's meat in this study. Finally this study is "turn key" ready with little outside prep for the leader and thoughtful prayers provided for each session.
