As a single woman I liked reading this book. I think it will help me in understanding relationships, and talking with my friends about relationships. The author has co-authored other books I like. I think it helps explain how some of my friends do have great marriages. It doesn't fall into the "blame game". It makes you look at yourself and follow your heart. It isn't "counseling" about problems, of the other person, but talking about the underlying attraction and/or love that people think they have when they are getting married, and how to sustain it. The routine of life can get to you, so you have to stay alive. I think I can, and you could, apply some of the things in this book, married, single, dating, etc. And, the price is great! [And by the way, I know people who got married just because they didn't want to be alone, or the time was right to have kids,] If you like and or love that person you married at all, this book may help you with the love part - and if you don't believe in divorce it's worth a try.

I am a single guy but this book sounded interesting and I was not disappointed! Loved the fresh perspectives on marriage it offers and the great ideas for making your marriage a "story book" romance. Highly recommend this book for married couples and even singles looking to better prepare themselves for that beautiful journey.

I received this book in a CBD Hardcover Surprise Box. God knows what we can use. I am a happily married woman for almost 46 years but there is always room for improvement. I highly recommend this to engaged couples as well as people who have been married for a long time, for people who are happily married and for those whose marriages are struggling.
