A Reader
I love most of the books I've read by Janette Oke, but this series has to be my favorite! She did a wonderful job of describing every day struggles and victories for women: starting in book 1 with Virginia as a young adult, then through the other books of Virginia experiencing heartache, service, trusting the Lord, marriage, family, and friendships. I laughed and cried through the series because I felt I could identify with many of the things Virginia went through. It was all written beautifully as well!
