Poor Eutychus might have tumbled off his perch in Acts 20, but its humbling to notice that what took Paul many hours of preaching to achieve-near fatal napping in one of his listeners takes most preachers only a few minutes on a Sunday afternoon.
Saving Eutychus will help you save your listeners from such a fate. Written by an Aussie and an Irishman with very different styles who share a passion for preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Saving Eutychus delivers fresh, honest, faithful and practical insights into preaching the whole word of God, Sunday by Sunday, without being dull.

Review 1 for Saving Eutychus: How to Preach God's Word and Keep People Awake
Very Accessible and Practical
Date:September 6, 2013
Despite having gone through seminary and preached hundreds of messages over the past couple of decades, I was still surprised to find some really good nuggets of wisdom in this book, that have helped my preaching. The "Top Ten Tips for Being Clearer" in chapter 3 is worth the price of the book. Whether you're a veteran preacher or one who is just getting started, it's definitely worth a read.
