Theology and Practice of Mission: God, the Church, and the Nations has proven to be one of the most important books in my library. As a church planting practitioner I have found it easy to be caught up in the mechanics of church planting. Although, in many ways, this book has renewed my zeal for church planting, it has now placed it in its proper perspective. Theology and Practive of Mission has built a foundation of sound Biblical theology in which to embark on the mission of God. We hear the phrase, "seeing it from a 30,000 foot level". This book helps me see from the "heavenly level" the mission of God and the role of the church in His mission.
