Zondervan Grace: An Invitation to a Way of Life, Pursuing Spiritual Transformation

The Pursuing Spiritual Transformation series focuses on personal transformation through the five "G's": Grace, Growth, Groups, Gifts, and Giving. These studies in GRACE will help you make the connection between grace as a remote biblical concept and grace as a lifestyle - a reality you experience day in day out. Through an unfolding study of Psalm 23, you'll learn how God - our Good Shepherd - is for you, how he longs to walk with you through temptation, sorrow, and even deep regret. You'll discover God's desire to make his joy your joy. Throughout, you'll learn how enduring, powerful, and life-affirming God's work in your life can be - and rediscover why it's called amazing grace. Group sessions are: Living in Grace/ Grace for Regrets/ Sustaining Grace/ Delighting in Grace/ A Legacy of Grace/ Grace Forever/ Grace to Share.

I am always impressed with anything that Mr. Ortberg writes, and just delving into the first 7 pages, my life has changed already as this book moves you to see every single day full of God's many graces from the simplest perspective. Application questions are endless from so many of Mr. Ortberg's statements as well as the Bible study section. As always, the Spiritual Exercises are priceless. What a perfect book in this series, again, for small group discussion to continue to go just a little bit deeper and move us all out to do marvelous things in His name. Great, great small group study...

Enjoyed this study. It is very straight forward and gives applications to everyday life. We used it as a devotional, but it is also written for a small group setting.
