This book is a great learing tool in the aid of teaching your children the Bible. It does offer the Bible scripture in the back of the book, but it is a different version than I prefer. I did however accomodate the teaching with my own Bible translation instead. Other than that I would recommend this book.

I've used the Children's Discover 4 Yourself series before for my Sunday School class and am happy with them. My girls enjoy all the colored marking they get to do as well as the various quizzes and drawing they are asked to do. I like the Kay Arthur inductive style of studying the Bible. And the service from the company was great - didn't have to wait long for the material to arrive.

Review 5 for Jesus in the Spotlight: John, Chapters 1-10 - eBook
Every child should first go through the study "How to Study Your Bible, for Kids". Once they have mastered that, this book is a great starter of a Bible Book Study. These resources are the best I've ever seen for a daily Bible study for a child. My children love it and beg for another when they are finished. These self-directed studies help children not only learn about the bible, but also learn how to see what is in there for themselves. We have enough resources telling us what the bible means... but teaching a child to discover it for themselves is far better! I highly recommend the entire series!

What a great Bible study of the book of John. It's clear and Kay makes it fun in a movie director setting. Our, then 4th and 6th grade children are home schooled and are finishing up the next set of JOHN chapter Bible study this summer before beginning 5th and 7th grades this year.

My kids loved this Bible study of John 1-10. They really like the activities that reinforce what they are learning. We use it in our Bible Class at homeschool and it has been great teaching them to study, search and learn for themselves.

This is excellent. Go through it with your children. It is amazing at how much they retain doing this study. I used it with my own children and then took it with me to church to use while working with 1st-6th graders. All were interested and all learned! That's what it's all about...kids learning God's Word. I can't wait to start the sequel, "Jesus Awesome Power, Awesome God!"
