I had seen the movie based on this book and enjoyed it. Reading the book gave me a new perspective on the story and I enjoyed it very much. Really makes a person think about their values and way they live.
I loved this book, gave it to my kids and niece and nephews for Christmas. I am also using it in my High School Sunday School class. I liked the book better than the movie but the movie is ok. I plan to by more for a bunch of my friends. My college aged daughter called as soon as she finished it to tell me it really made her think and to plan to do some things differently.
Join Jason on his memorable yearlong quest of discovery - that will captivate the hearts of young and old alike - as he searches for his stake in THE ULTIMATE GIFT.I LOVED this book. Red Steven's Jason's uncle has many lessons for Jason to learn as he seeks the Ultimate Gift. This book will make you think and want some of these gifts for yourself and your family. They have made a movie "The Ultimate Gift" based on this book. It is really good too. They are different and really good on their own merritts.
This book is without question a definite must read. I was truly blessed to have this book put in my hands. The storyline is dramatic, but very poignant. I'm convinced that anyone who reads this book will be a better person for having read the book (true obviously only if the principles taught in the book are applied). There are probably about 6 copies of this book floating out there that I've let people borrow under the condition that I don't want the book back unless they didn't benefit from it. I haven't had one copy returned yet.
