New Leaf Publishing Like a Mighty Wind

In the midst of all the controversy, God through His Holy Spirit continues His work on the island of Timor and throughout Indonesia. Now in paperback, Like a Mighty Wind persists in its claim that the God of the miraculous New Testament has not changed.

I read this book over 35 years ago when I first became a new believer.
This people have a simple child-like faith in an Almighty Father who loves them. Either you can read this book and believe these accounts of what God among these people or say it's too incredible to believe, which some people have said to me.
Either we believe in an Almighty God who has said 'Is anything impossible for Me to do' or we explain that He has changed for the modern man and doesn't need the love and power of God today.
He is the same yesterday, today and forever. God said it, I believe it and that settles it.

I loved this book. It is a real faith builder of what we can believe God for. We must learn to walk in the supernatural as we live in perilous times and God is our true source for provision.

This is an excellent rendering of the baptism of the Holy Spirit on the Indonesian church in the 1960's. It is just like when the Holy Spirit first fell on the apostles in the Bible. I loved the stories of walking on water, raising of the dead and faith healing. There is also a story where Jesus himself visits a pagan high priest just like he did Paul. I loved it! It proves that the Lord can save anyone any where. This is a must read for all Christians who want the gifts and the power of the Holy Spirit to be manifested in their own life. Buy one and give it to your pastor!

I don't know why this book is listed as being written by Cliff Dudley. He only helped Mel Tari to write it. It is Mel's story, and a very wonderful and miraculous one at that! Modern day miracles!! Excellent!

Power to perform mighty miracles and gifts bestowed on a group of young people given a call to evangelize their island in the early 1970's. Proves the Holy Spirit still operates today as in biblical times. Easy to read and hard to put down. A must have for fire seekers!
