I bought this book with the intention of using it with my small group of 12-15 year old girls. It provides summaries of the lives of missionaries that have already died that had a big impact. I like that after the story it has a challenging thought about reaching others for christ and also a key point to pray about in your own personal life. With my group of girls i have found that some of the vocabulary is a bit hard for them so i find myself explaining alot. Over all its good for the purpose that i had intended. If you want some general knowledge about missionaries or something for a small group this works.

I purchased this book to utilize in our homeschool. Heavens Heroes introduces you to 22 individuals who were sold out to Jesus Christ and how their faith impacted the world. The book is written in the style of a family devotional but can be adapted to a homeschool or Sunday School setting. This book is a great way to introduce your children to missions!
