Care and cleaning instructions:
Always use a soft, clean cloth to dust and polish your shofar; never use water. Keep out of direct sunlight, and store at room temperature. To de-scent your shofar, spritz both ends of the shofar with a little bit of wintergreen alcohol or scented olive oil. If necessary, repeat this process a couple of times to fully de-scent.

One New Man
I like it. Once, I cleaned it like you told me. And, alot of practice, I really get a nice sound out of it. Nobody can blow a shofar overnight. It will get a deeper sound if you cup your hand, slightly over the exit. Making the shofar sound much bigger than it is. Again, I like it, thank you.

I ordered your small shofar for my 8 year old son.He loves it. It is just the right size for him. He can blow it and it has a very nice loud sound. My husband also likes the sound of it. He has a large shofar and he said it is as easy to blow as the large one.

I do not like this shofar. It is not cleaned very well inside or out. The hole for blowing is full of stuff and needs to be drilled out. I can not get a sound out of it. My Pastor could blow it, but it was hard for him to do it. I guess you pay for what you get.

I love artifacts from Israel...but I must be totally upfront--I can't hear anything out of it...there's not much noise...I read a review by someone for their VBS saying the sound was great--but my (extended too...not just hubby and kids) family and I can't get much out of it...it's beautiful to look at and even cool to hold--but as far as sounds are concerned--I think we're going to have to get a larger one.
