This was a really great movie. Though it doesn't follow the book at all, it is still a really fantastic movie to watch. I reccomend it 100%

Whole series is WOW! You can't help but feel for the people depicted in this series. I'm a male and yes I've been through some hard times and so I can feel and I must admit I need tissues on hand. The advise given to the offspring is so beautifully put that I'd like to memorise them. Who knows when or if I'll need to use them one day. The WHOLE series is a must buy. I hope and pray that there will be more to this series. Sit back enjoy and be BLESSED. I'm going to put this review on all of the others so I don't have to type it out again.

I found this 3rd movie in the series to be great! It picked up after the 2nd movie really well. I enjoyed watching this couple in this movie! Willie's character is so sweet! My children enjoyed it as well. (I am very choosy about what they can watch.) It has Christian values, that is what I am teaching my children.

I love this DVD. I enjoy the entire series. When I first saw "Love Comes Softly," I didn't know that it could get any better, but it did. "Love's Long Journey, is wonderful!

So sad and disappointing! While this is a "nice little movie" I found this and the subsequent movies in this series nothing like the books. The "Love comes Softly" series is one of my favorite Christian book series and I was extremely disappointed that except for the names of some of the main characters and a few out of context situations it was nothing like the book. As the movies go on they become less and less like the series, it might as well be a completely different story.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the Love Comes Softly series. I hated to see them end. It is good, captivating reading from the beginning, each book holds its special place. The author makes you feel like you are living in the time. Good Read. I bought the videos so my mother could watch. She presently has a hard time holding a book because her shoulders and had has arthritis. I know once the holidays are over she will enjoy the videos too.

This installment in the Love Comes Softly series provides the viewer with clearcut marriage and family values. Viewing it with the family provides opportunities to teach the importance of love, faith, hope and endurance in hardship. The importance of cross-cultural friendships, hard work and family closeness should not be a thing of the past. Today's family will be helped and strengthened as they view in this series how a marriage and family can become the strong unit that God intended it to be even without all the modern day conveniences we enjoy. Don't miss even one of the films in this series. A note to the wives; get your husbands to watch these with you. My wife and I have done this with several couples. The husbands became intrigued with the storyline, the frontier setting, the challenges facing a family and shed some tears, laughed, and made positive comments about the series. In fact after watching the first film they wanted to see them all. We will be ordering the fifth installment this month. Thanks CBD for offering these and other such videos to your family of customers.

This movie was adorable!!! I have read both the books & seen all the movies, and IMO the movies are actually better... I enjoyed them more anyway :). "Love's Long Journey" was so sweet and I'm glad they had the same actor for Willie. I did prefer the old actress for Missie she just seemed to have more chemistry with Willie and was, well, a better actress... but the new Missie is really sweet and does a good job too. She plays really well in the 4th movie particuarly. Anyway I totally recommend this movie - and all of the ones in this series - they are so sweet and wholesome and really nice movies!!

AWESOME movie to watch with your family.I love watching these olden day movies. Why I'm only grading it a 3 and not a 5 is because I was very disappointed when I got this because it's very different from the book. I know they probably can't follow it exact, but at least try to copy a little like the book! Other then that it's a nice movie.

Out of all of the Love Comes Softly DVDs, Love's Long Journey is my favorite, even though it does not follow the book that closely. The acting is believable and the story is engaging. All in all, it is a very good family film.

ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!! This is, by far, the best out of ALL the Jannette Oak series. An A+ for sure! Everyone loves it, and the new Missie is FAR better than January Jones. FAR better. !!!
