In this book, Thomas R. Schreiner and Bruce A. Ware explore the full extent of God's lordship and, "supremacy over all, whose purposes are acomplished without fail, and who directs the course of human affairs, including the central drama of saving a people for the honor of His name, all with perfect holiness and matchless grace," through the sacrifice and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ.

This is just the read that I was looking for! The authors who contributed to this work have out done themselves. Dr. Piper's section on the "two Will's of God" was helpful and thought provoking. I also recommened "The Justification of God" by Piper. God has been gracious to us with the giving of John Piper and his work. . .
