Customer Reviews for The Episcopal Handbook
Review 1 for The Episcopal Handbook
A fun, succinct overview of the Episcopal church
Date:October 23, 2013
Lots of humor, tongue in cheek explanations of topics teens (and adults) may be embarrassed to ask as well as brief chapters on our faith, history, and the Bible. A very good companion to confirmation class!

Review 2 for The Episcopal Handbook
A good beginning...

Corky the Hooded One
I bought this book with the hopes of learning more about the Episcopal church and all of its ins-and-outs. This book contains a lot of useful information, but I found that some of its "humor" seemed misplaced.
For example, it gives a great explanation on the history of the church, but then gets silly by instructing the reader on the proper way to shake someone's hand during the sign of peace (i.e. "Look them straight in the eye; grasp hand; move in an up and down motion, etc.).
