A friend has an incomplete set which I found to be a tremendous asset in understanding the gospels. The author gives a tremendous insight into the meaning of the gospel. I recommend this set to anyone interested in gaining understanding. I’ve seen other bible studies that go deeper but for my use I don’t think this can be beat.

John and Matthew are great. Mark and Luke are very good. Barclay's style of writing and extensive research make these valuable tools for sermon or Bible class prepration.
