Westminster John Knox Press Paul for Everyone: The Prison Letters: Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and Philemon

Making use of his vast knowledge of the New Testament and it cultural background as well as his remarkable ability to write simply and clearly, N.T. Wright captures the verse and sparkle of these letters. Paul composed these letters while in prison facing possible death, but their passion and energy are undimmed. They reveal Paul's longing to see young churches grow in faith and understanding rooted in Jesus himself, and to see this faith worked out in practice. Wright's stimulating comments are combined with his own fresh and inviting translation of the text.

About the Series:
N.T. Wright has undertaken a tremendous task: to provide guides to all books of the New Testament and to include in them his own Bible translation. The result is a superb series for those desiring deep engagement with the Bible and its enduring message for Christian life today.

Bishop Wright's study is well written and easily grasped. Good for Men Bible Study groups- and adult classes.

Great commentary. I just wish it was a little more in depth. I plan to get the whole set.
