In this commentary, Wright approaches the second half of themulti-faceted book of Acts, showing how the book builds on Luke's Gospel, laying out the continuing work and teaching of the risen and ascended Christ. His writing captures the vivid way in which Luke's work draws the reader into the story, while leaving the open-ended challenge of continuing the story of service to all Christians today.

Right balance in a Bible study

I like N.T. Wright's ability to interweave sound theology, scholarship, anecdotes, insight, and commentary. Each segment is short enough to read in a few minutes, but is packed with material that keeps you thinking. It's exegetical rather than devotional, but it is easily read and can be used as a daily devotion.
