Review 1 for Open Hearts in Bethlehem
Date:December 29, 2012
Building on Kenneth Bailey's understanding of biblical customs through many years living in the Middle East and studying the Scriptures, this musical is a non-traditional rendition of Christmas. The book includes a helpful article explaining why the interpretation of the birth of Jesus presented here is closer to the biblical account than our traditional nativity scenes. When presenting, it is helpful to include a short introduction explaining that this version of the story is unusual, but that there are strong reasons to believe that the events took place like this. Highly recommended.

This program does not follow the Bible.
Date:January 1, 2012
I was looking forward to using this to share the true meaning of Christmas but I was disappointed as it did not follow the Bible. Even my children said they didn't want to use it as they felt it changed the true story as found in the Bible. It was a waste of money and we ended up discarding it.
