We ordered 4, one for myself, my husband and both grandchildren. We ordered the NKJV because it reads a little easier and we like the way each day's reading is broken up to include some OT, NT, Psalms and Proverbs.

This book has always been the number one devotional book for me. Every single year I use the One-Year Study Bible to help me read thru the bible. I could not possibly read the Bible thru if this book had not been written. I would very highly recommend this book (the One-Year Bible) to all of my friends.

A friend suggested that I get a One Year bible to help me be more consistent with my quiet time every day. Our church uses NKJV but I couldn't find one like this at any local stores. I felt that if I had the NKJV, the text would be the same from this one to my regular study bible if I wanted to look further into a specific verse. And it worked out! I chose the paperback due to price, mostly. It's a good size and not heavy, will fit in any tote bag. Also, fits in the door pocket of my car. I can read it while waiting for the kids at school or during their after school activities. Fits nicely in my nightstand drawer which makes it handy to read in bed. I have actually been diligent and able to stay up to date with my readings. Definitely like the way it is designed. I took a suggestion from the "Ways to Use The One Year Bible" page and split up the reading into 2 segments per day. I think I have really enjoyed that plan suggestion. Everyone has to find a system that works for them; and this one seems to be working very well for me. I am learning the benefits of reading the Word every day. Have a blessed day! Thanks!
