I cannot recommend this book highly enough. I am recently engaged and ordered this for my fiance and I to work through together. It has been so good for our relationship and getting to know one another on a deeper level. It has brought on conversations we most likely wouldn't have had without the prompting of the questions in the book. It discusses key elements such as Family, Finances, Previous Marriages, and Religion, just to name a few. Often used in premarital counseling by counselors, the book forces you to dig deeper into topics that can be tricky in marriage, but you don't have to see a counselor to do it. If you're engaged this book is a MUST HAVE!

My boyfriend and I are not engaged yet but find the book helpful to discuss topics we may have only touched on before. We've had some great conversations now that will help us prepare for engagement.

As a marriage and family therapist, I use this book with couples I see. It's an excellent book, well-organized, clearly covering areas that premarital couples should be aware of before marriage.

My husband & I had both been previously married but we still wanted a tool that would help us learn more about each other before we got married. This book was awesome! I highly suggest this book for all couples before marriage. Seriously pray individually & together prior to beginning the book and be ready & willing to answer honestly - regardless of the end results. You will be so thankful!
