If you are looking at the Zondervan Encyclopedia but can't fit it into your budget (like myself), this book is the perfect alternative. For 20 bucks, you really can't go wrong with this purchase; the information inside is solid, awesome pictures, and great feel to the book overall.

I was pleasantly surprised when this dictionary arrived. The book is well made (sturdy), the graphics are beautiful, the pictures are very clear and take you back in time. Add to that, the type is an easy to read size, yet not too large. These factors add to the pleasure of using the dictionary, which looks to be very informative. I'm happy I ordered it and expect it will be a great supplement in my Bible studies.

The Zondervan Bible Dictionary is awesome it not only gives you the meaning of words, it gives you the history, related scripture, pictures and sidebars, its very informative. I have not used my concordance since I received it.

I was completely surprised by the scholarship and value of this book. I was not expecting such a concise and thought out encyclopedia of the Bible. I was looking for something basic, but instead I found a treasure trove of information. I was expecting Twinkies, but got Apple Pie instead!! I'm quite happy with my purchase.
