The most profound, and very true, statement was the fact that we tend to trade our very unique God given position as spouse and parent, for a position that thousands of others can do (our career). Why? To be praised by man. This book gives great counsel, is bold, and very helpful with practical steps to find balance so you neither cheat your family of your presence, or your workplace of production.

As a husband and father of 2 wonderful kids, I truly wish I had this book before I got married and certainly before my wife and I had kids. This book is practical and will open your eyes. This book shouldn't be given as a birthday or holiday gift, it should be given as a "I was thinking of you today and..." gift!

GREAT BOOK! Easy to read, scripturally based, practical steps. I recommend the book to anyone who feels like they're not perfect at balancing their work/ministry with their family!
