This little devotional is finally in my posession! I have looked everywhere for it and finally found it! It has been a true blessing as previous reviewers have stated. I bought a few to give away as gifts with the one I purchased and everyone has been quite pleased and blessed with the same. When I get a chance, I will purchase a few more for more gift giving. Would like to add that this devotional is GREAT for any age group as I gave one to my 15 year old daughter - she loved it and lent it out to a friend of hers, same age.

I had the privilege (something I do not say often) to read and review “His Princess: Love Letters from Your King” By: Sheri Rose Shepherd and wow, I cannot say enough good things about this book. The messages are powerful, heartfelt, affirming words of God that sink deep into your soul and affirm the gracious love of our Father for us. Page after wonderful page you are reminded on Gods unfailing love for you. When I first received this book I planned to read through it like any other book and write a simple review. After the first 3 pages I knew this was not going to happen. God used this book to reaffirm His love for me and draw me closer to Him in a powerful and amazing way. I found myself highlighting truths as they applied to my life, my journey, fears and insecurities. When I was done my spirit felt renewed and transformed. Simply amazing how Gods word does transform my spirit and shakes me awake time and again. At the end of the book I took all that I underlined that touched my life and wrote my own personal letter from God to me.
Here is just a small excerpt of what you will find in this wonderful book. This is my personal combination of what reached out to me from several different stories:
“I see you when you are in the garden of grief. I hear your cry for help in the dark hours of the night. Don’t ever doubt that I am with you and that I long to take you to a place of comfort, peace and victory. Give to me the crushing weight of you circumstances, and come to Me in prayer. Don’t imitate those of the world who care nothing for your soul. Give yourself to Me, and I will give you the love you are looking for. Please, my princess, let go of your guilt and forgive yourself and those who have hurt you. Once you have confessed your sins to Me, I cast it into the sea of My forgetfulness-never to see or remember it again. So let go and live a free and full life, My precious one. I see you when no one else does. I see you meet others needs when no one is looking. I know when you give generously when there is no spotlight. I know you need to be appreciated for who you are and all that you do. But don’t give up. I cannot wait to celebrate in heaven all that you have done to further My kingdom. I am so pleased with your dedication and good works. “

I am buying and giving this book away. It is a must have for any woman. I am amazed at the author's insight and sensitivity. It was so "on point" for me and many of the women I deal with. The scripture is what makes it a "jewel". Without it, the book would have made you feel good but with scripture, it makes it true. I am already planning the same give away with her other book.

I bought this book for my mother and a few friends, it is the love language everyone should use. It speaks to women how they should be spoken to; it gives worth to you that no one else does, makes you understand how God truely feels about you. Very inspiring.

When confronted with princess imagery, I'm one to roll my eyes or feel some gag rise up from deep within. At a women's conference years ago, I kept hearing how Christian women were "princesses" and our Father was the King. Engage more eye rolling. Despite my aversion to all things princessy, Sheri Rose Shepherd's pocket-sized devotional book His Princess: Love Letters from Your King provides a daily dose of encouragement that I recognized could help Christian women understand how much God treasures them.
Divided into almost 90 entries, Shepherd's book is formatted in a series of letters and ends with "Love, Your King and Your Purity," determined on which topic is being discussed. With this book, girls and young teens alike read letters that have been "written" by God to them, addressing different kinds of life situations: confusing emotions, connection with God, and pulling through difficult situations. Another nice features of the book is a corresponding Bible verse for each letter, therefore tying in a passage from a much larger "letter" into small individual letters. The diversity of the topics addressed in the book will also help the book's audience see that God truly does understand what they are experiencing. His Princess (even the light and airy feel) truly does an excellent job of letting girls and young women know that they are loved by God, and are indeed part of a much bigger story. I would recommend it for those trying to teach the young women in their lives about what it means to be a daughter of the King.

This book is VERY well written and brings me to tears with the way it describes our Lords love for us. It's also a great book for a father to sit down and read to his daughter every evening before bed. :-)

What a wonderful blessing this book has been to me! It makes my relationship with God even more personal as I read the Scriptures He has provided for me and the letters that Ms. Sheperd has been inspired to write as if from God to me. Each day I can pick up this little book and spend 5 minutes or less reading a love letter from God to me and the Scripture verse that goes along with the letter. The pictures in the book add to the whole feel of something special that has been created for me!

This tiny book can fit into your purse or backpack. It has that hardcover that is soft, if you know what I am talking about. The pages are glossy with nice colors, imagery, and flowers. Some visuals are repeated, though. What is best about this though, is the content. Each page last a paragraph that is supposed to be God's love letter to you and a Scripture verse. The way in which these are written really touches the heart. The Bible verses are written in contemporary translations, so they are very easy to understand. The book is great for those who want quick devotionals, as each left and right page can be for a day. Or, if one prefers, they can read the whole book in one sitting, as I did. A complaint I have, though, is that when Psalm 27:4 was quoted, the part about being in the House of the LORD was there, but the part about staring on the pleasantness of Jehovah was plain left out.

To all the ladies out there who dont believe they have much worth, this book provides verses about how much we mean to our heavenly Father and our true worth. Don't settle for what the world tells you, but what our Father tells us.

I bought this book for my 18 year old grand daughter who is away at college. She is in new surroundings, new friends and I want her to remember how God loves her and takes care of her. She loves the book and has posted some of the letters in it on Facebook.

This is a treasure! What a beautiful book with beautiful photography and script! The letters are written so it is read as the letters are really personal to you. It is encouraging; easy to read (one a day meditations or as many as you hunger for). It is small so it can be taken about anywhere.
