This is definitely a "day brightener"! It is short devotional thoughts designed to focus our attention on God at work in our lives. It is excellent on a kitchen table, at your desk at work, anywhere you need a little something to get your eyes back on what really matters.
Kay Arthur is one of the very best Bible teachers I have ever studied under. She is solid in her teaching, not taking verses out of context, and NEVER compromising God's Word to tickle the ears of her hearers.

The Lord's Word is such a wonderful gift to us. Every morning at work, I look forward to turning the next page of this Daybrightener. Each day's verse is an inspiration to start my day with the Lord. When the day gets tough, I'll go back and read through previous pages.

I've always been a big fan of Kay Arthur. This is such a great little daily devotional for those on the run all the time. Unfortunetly, we live in a fast pace world and these little "bits" of God's Word seems to always come in handy later on in day. I also love how strongly it's built to last a few years and beyond.
