I wish I had bought Right Start from Christian Book.com!! I would have saved money for sure! My daughter did level B last year and we are starting level C this fall. My twins(K-5) are starting level A this fall also. It's a great way to do math and we had great results when the SAT scores came back. My daughter scored 100% in most of the math sections. She has learned to process her math mentally and uses very little scratch paper. It's amazing how this program teaches you to think. Teaching this program is not difficult but does take a little time to read over the lesson so that you can teach well. I recommend this study to anyone who wants their child to have a strong foundation of math. I feel that the method that was taught to me as a child was weak and jumped around too much which lead to confusion and never mastering the skills I needed to understand math in it's full form. Be open to this way of teaching and learning. It's different from the traditional math methods but very good!

We have found Rightstart to be an outstanding program. All the hands-on manipulatives enhance understanding, the lesson plans are clear and easy to follow, and the games are FUN (over 300). There are not endless works sheets and rote memorization. The kids love math.

Right Start Math seems to be engaging. Having already taught my child for 2 years using traditional methods, I find we are having trouble breaking her of the "counting habit". We've only used it for a couple of weeks though.

I've been using right start math for only a week but already I'm excited about using this program for many years. The abacus, and the philosophy toward math in general, is highly effective, much more than the counting type approach that most other manipulatives-based math programs. Counting on tiles is no diffent than counting on fingers. This program emphasizes sight identification for quantities up to 10 and grouping for quantities over ten. This is how mental math should be done.

This product exceeded my expectations!
