Having used the Adam Hamilton "24 Hours That Changed the World" last year, our group looked forward to the "Final Words" study. We are somewhat dissapointed in this study. The "Final Words" book is good. We like the "first person" accounts at the beginning of each chapter. We had hoped for the caliber of DVD that "24 Hours" contained. The "24 Hours" DVD went beyond what was written in the book. However, the "Final Words" DVD is a repeat of a portion of what we read in the book. The DVD is a waste of time and money.

FINAL WORDS from the cross is an outstanding study for the season of Lent. Adam Hamilton examines the seven last words of Christ with knowledge, understanding and sesitivity of scripture combined with the skills of a wonderful teacher/pastor. He challenges persons to think about their relationship with the crucified Christ during Lent and to focus on those seven last words with the assurance of the resurrection on Easter.
