I had never seen a throw with the nativity and immediately loved this one. I ordered it without hesitation! This is a lovely quilt that met the expectations I had for it. It's purpose was to serve as our church bulletin board for Dec. It was the perfect size and covered the board perfectly and it looks beautiful. As far as snuggling up with it, its a little stiff but if washed would likely soften up. For me it's stiffness served the bulletin board well. Will probably serve a different cause next year as I usually don't duplicate the bulletin board from year to year.

I actually purchased this for me, for use in our bedroom. However, the colors are not the "bright" red & green that the rest of my holiday bedroom patchwork set is. This throw is in shades of Sage and Burgundy. It's great quality for the (sale) price, and includes some extra stitching to give it a real quilt look. I now plan on giving this as a gift to someone that needs a little Jesus in their life, without being pushy or technically bringing religion up. It would also make a nice holiday wall covering in a large plain room because it actually looks nicer from a distance. I wish I would have bought 2 of these now ;)
