Westminster John Knox Press Revelation: Interpretation: A Bible Commentary for Teaching and Preaching

The Book of Revelation has had an enormous influence on Christian history---and its message is still needed today. Boring's section-by-section commentary explores the meaning of John's vision and explains interpretive difficulties in light of the book's central focus---the risen Christ who continues to speak to his church through the Spirit. 320 pages, hardcover from Westminster John Knox.

A superior commentary on this book. Highly readable and accessible to the lay-person. Excellent for use with curricula on Revelation. Very helpful and a great "balance" to a lot of what's out there. Top notch scholarship.
