I took this course through the 2007-2008 school year at RGCA and my Class and I LOVED IT! The experiments were auxillarating and it felt like Dr.Wile was in the room. My teacher, my class, and I would recommend it for anyone. Taylor Wynn/13

I love this science curriculum. My kids love science now. The material is easy to understand. The experiments are fun and easily done with household items in most cases. Everyone should make this book part of the science curriculum. We will be using several of the Apologia texts in the coming years.

This is just what I was looking for in a science book!!!! Hooray! Finally, a brilliant Christian text on science by a man who can pique the interest of both mother, child, and teenager! I have used this book so far with my 2 children and we are all learning! This is my favorite book for homeschooling this year. I would recommend it to any parent or teen who wants to learn more about science from a Biblical perspective. My children are actually in grade school, so I use this book as my study guide and teach them--in a simplified form--what I have learned. So far they are in love with science.

I took this course for 8th grade science, and I loved it! It's almost like Dr. Wile is sitting in the room with you, making sure you get the facts down. He goes over the facts with you over and over (and in context through the easy-to-prepare experiments)until you "get it". The tests are very fair and easy (if you study the text, of course!). A lot of work went into this book, and you can tell that Dr. Wile really has a passion for science and he wants to spread that passion to you. This is also a great curriculum for people who need to affirm their faith. He explains why theories like evolution, the big bang, the theory that the solar system evolves around the earth (I forgot the term), and more theories, are scientifically and biblically incorrect. I highly recommend this curriculum!

I would give this book - in fact the entire curriculum (I'm using the biology text this year) 5+ stars if there were a star ratingon this web site!Take it from the student (meee) - the one that reads the text and answers the questions that this is the BEST science curriculum out there!!!I used AOP LIFEPAC science for 5th-7th grade and boy was I missing out! AOP made me HATE science! It was sooo boring! I dreaded science everyday and, therefore, pushed it to the end (which I didn't always get done) and got behind. When I started Apologia, science became one of my favoritesubjects! The way the author uses a conversational style and tries to interest you in the subject (instead of forcing billions of cut & dry facts into your brain which just come out of your other ear the next day) is a much more inviting method of teaching which not many other textbooks provide!I would recommend this to anyone searching (or not searching -- just not realizing their need) for a new science curriculum.
