This is what I expected to be as a one-volume Bible commentary. My daughter who is a university student also found it very useful in her personal Bible study and won't give it back to me after borrowing it from me. I think I should buy another one for her as a gift.

This is not for casual reading but I use it to augment my understanding of our lectionary. The commentary is readable on a level of a college graduate without being too academic. A very useful reference to a non-minister.
