I did this course as I was finishing up high school, before going to nursing school. It was a terrific course, very well written, understandable, and thorough. It laid an excellent foundation of anatomy and physiology which prepared me very well for a college A&P course. I've become convinced that understanding A&P is perhaps the most important key to being an effective health care provider, and this course is a very good place to start! I've recommended it to many people and hope to teach it to my kids someday! :)

This book is thorough enough to prepare any student for a college course in anatomy and physiology, especially students interested in the health science fields. The explanations are clear and indepth. I have used this book for teaching Juniors and Seniors in high school and have had students tell me they were well prepared for their college classes, using it as a reference for their advanced classes. The anatomy coloring book is a must, in my opinion.
