O'Brien's commentary is a must for the serious student. He is concise and thorough. If you know greek or are learning it, this volume will prove to be a great learning experience.

This volume must receive six stars!!! It is the best commentary I have ever read. Superb in every respect - theologically, linguistically (you may learn a lot of his skills in Greek), interaction with other authors etc. Exemplary for all other commentators to follow.

A must for anyone seeking to discover the treasures contained within this marvelous epistle to the Philippians. This book is especially helpful in interpreting Phil. 2.5-11.
