I would highly recommend this book for those who wish to grow in their walk, but the spelling and grammatical errors within were very annoying.

I am blessed by the classical writings of Christians, godly saints of decades, or even centuries gone by. Andrew Murray is certainly among these. I love his books, and Absolute Surrender is one of his absolute best because in this thin book, you have a powerhouse of scriptural knowledge that, if applied, will change your spiritual life dramatically. After reading this book, I came up with an acronym to summarize its content: A.V.R.A.S. - Absolute Victory (in life) Requires Absolute Surrender (to Christ).

This is an excellent book, one of those "must-reads." It is the key to that abundant life that God has promised to those who truly desire to know and serve their God. We must surrender everything to Him (holding nothing back) - our spouses, our children, our finances, our jobs, etc. etc. - and why wouldn't we want to surrender to the One who created us, loves us intensely and has the best plan for our lives, and He wants to bless us with things we cannot even imagine! Contrary to popular opinion, we cannot do a better job at living this life than He can through us. The peace, contentment, joy is unbelievable! Try it - you'll love it!

My e,Corrie Ten Boom, loved Andrew Murray's writings, so I started reading them. I began with "Absolute Surrender" and loved it! This book makes it easier to understand what total surrender to Jesus is; and how to get there. His writings draw you MUCH closer to God.

This book tells us how to deny self, take up our cross DAILY and follow Christ. If you want more than a Sunday go to church christian life, this is a must read. I can never be the same! Thank God

The message of the book is: My will is not strong enough to overcome sin. I must surrender my will to God's Holy Spirit so that He is in full control. Abiding in Christ comes alive.
