Barbour Publishing A Bride's Sweet Surprise in Sauers, Indiana - eBook

How could Papa be so unfair? Regina Seitz's sisters were allowed to choose their own husbands. Instead she must marry a man she has never met--one who is not even American. Diedrich Rothhaus also faces an impossible decision--conscription in the Prussian army or emigrate to an arranged marriage in America. Against the odds and both their wills, love claims their hearts. But as a cruel family secret comes to life, only God's intervention can keep their love from slipping away.

I really enjoyed this book, it was a sweet romance between two people that has been pledged in marriage by their fathers. As the story unfolds and they meet, we find two people who love God and desire to honor their parents but, each have a very different path planned for their life. So, they attempt to find a way out of the agreement but the only problem is, their hearts aren't following the plan.
