Andy Stanley does not disappoint the learner in this straightforward teaching. All is based on the importance of looking to God's word for the answers to the problems we face. The world's solutions to life's most difficult issues often lead to more problems. With humor Andy Stanley gives examples of life issures that can be very difficult to figure out. Believers and nonbelievers can benefit from this DVD. By following the guidelines set in God's word, each situation can be a great learning experience that will build character and stability to one's life.

Andy Stanley is excellent; he is fun and easy to listen to. All ages from high school on up will benefit from this study, no matter where they are in life. We've done a few of his DVD studies and have not been disappointed. This is the 2nd time we are using this one. It is the best study on decision making and the Will of God that I have come across.

Our small group found the messages from Andy Stanley engaging and the participants guide followed the message and allowed our group to get to know each other and God showed up. By the 6th (last) session, I looked at the discussion questions and found people sharing and addressing the questions without formally prompting people for discussion! While I believe it would be a good study for any group, it was a good pick for our new group. Andy Stanley applies the Bible to real life and gets you to consider "The Best Question Ever". Only concerns of the group were sometimes we wanted Andy to get to the point a little quicker. Overall, our group was pleased. We grew as a group and individually!

Great study for any age, but REALLY LOVE it for teens.!
Andy is funny when it needs to be, but really good message and brings it home. Our group could not wait until the next week to see the next video!

Andy Stanley gives it to me straight- things that have dramatically changed my life in a negative way are over. The thought of deciding what kind of person I am NOW vs. what kind I want to be in the future really inspired me. He makes you THINK without sounding like some conservative minister. Watching this series has already helped me make some important decisions.

Great small group study. Our group was changed in some critical areas- moral boundaries, time investment. To the point and on track all the way. The point is easy to remember and really confronts us when we start something new or revisit existing practices. A choice is much more than "Is it right?" It is a wise choice as we trust in God Who knows our past, present and future. I would recommend this for older students and all adults.

I've read the book and recently led a small group through the DVD and study guide. Overall, it was good. I am a fan of Stanley and will continue to check out his resources. However this one fell short for me and for our group somewhat. The Best Question Ever is a great question, but to whom is the question asked? I think it's a question we need to bring before the Lord, seeking His answer. He lands on this point somewhat by the end, but it just doesn't come across strong enough for me. Also, He's very good at identifying an issue that surfaces when it comes to this question, "What is the wise thing for me to do?" Often, the problem is not that we don't know what the wise thing is. It's that our desires don't line up with what's wise. He's good at identifying it, but not as helpful in addressing it as I'd hoped. Still worth checking out.
