Love this history book. As a homeschool mom of 12 years I have tried many curriculums. This one is the least boring. My teenager is interested in history again for the first time in years.

These books are very well written. My son, who usually doesn't enjoy history courses, started reading them right away. He said the books make history interesting. The tests are simply written, but expect a lot of knowledge on the subject. The only thing I didn't care for was the CD. It doesn't look like much information. I really don't like having to go to the computer anyway, so that's why I'm still giving the books five stars.

I have never been a history buff, but this kit may convert me. The text is absolutely fascinating, and I love the way it ties in Kingdom themes. For homeschooling, definitely get the kit. It's worth every penny. If you're an adult who wants to catch up on history, get the two volume teacher text. You'll need your reading glasses, but it has great extra info, along with the entire student text. The only caveat is that it's black and white, and the color illustrations in the student text are much better. Recommended for teens and adults.
