Children Inklings Board Game

You don't have to be a Bible expert to enjoy this strategy-building game--but every time you play, you'll know God's Word a little better! Players answer "Who/what am I?" questions based on increasingly easier clues. More challenging clues ("I said 'Stay at Jericho till your beards have grown'") earn more points; easier hints ("I killed Goliath") win fewer. There are over 280 questions, and the first player or team to get 55 points wins! For 2 to 6 individual players, or up to 24 players on teams. Recommended for ages 8 and up. In this game, you'll find:
  • A Spinner
  • 27 Draw Cards
  • 142 Clue Cards
  • 120 Point Chips (in 3 colors)

Contains small parts: Not recommended for ages 3 and under.

This is an extremely enjoyable game. I have played it with my friends both at home and at church events and it really has us laughing and scratching out heads.
The clue system going from harder to easier and decreasing points adds an element that wouldn't be there if the point system didn't exist or if you just got a single clue per questions.
I am not sure if an 8 year old would have as much fun with it. I would probably raise the minimum age to about 10 or 12 or so because the questions can be quite difficult at level 6 which is the first clue level. But have a go with some 8 year olds and let me know if it works well.
Great for youth meetings. Small or large. I have played it one on one as well as in teams and both are hilarious and quite educational.
Don't think. Just buy it. And enjoy it!!
