If you're looking for innovative or very different knitting patterns this is not the book for you.
If you're looking for a book that gives you a peek into how to pray WHILE you're knitting, then this book gives many examples and suggestions which can lift your regular day to day, week to week knitting into a more spiritual experience.
Since I had followed the Pray for 40 days book in the series I sort of expected this book to be more of prayer diary like that book, but it was not, which was probably what through me off in my expectations of this book.
I read the book from beginning to end, and enjoyed it. I will not knit the patterns as they are very simple, and I'm an expert knitter and need more challenge.
