I bought this for my homeschooled teens for their economics class. They enjoyed the reading but I felt that it lacked structure. The questions were often open ended, more for discussion that to determine understanding. I would have liked a schedule. Overall I think my kids enjoyed it though and I think they learned a lot.

Knowing my 10th grade daughter would prefer NOT to take Economics, I found "Whatever Happened to Penny Candy?" and snatched it up to use for 1 semester. This Bluestocking Guide will help reinforce what she reads, and let me know that she IS learning. Who knows?....she might become a stock broker when she is finished with the course!
