I only rate this 3 stars because Sophie daydreams so much in this book. its all 'imagining' in the Sophie books. (not all imagining, but she does do it) anyway, this may be the worst out of the series. if u want a really good series buy the lily books by Nancy Rue!

A MUST READ!!!this book is so super good; its based on a Christian theme her parents a REALLY worried about Sophie's grades but Sophie is afraid to tell them she has NO friends till one day she meets a girl as solemn and alone as her and they become friends.

I purchased this book for my 9 year old niece. She has quite the imagination herself and I like the fact that the book has a Christian theme. From what little I read, I think that she will really enjoy this book. She was very excited when I gave it to her.

I really enjoyed this book because I like to write stories and I'd like to make movies someday just like Sophie. It's fun to read about colonial times, too. I also like that Sophie is a Christian because most books wouldn't have a Christian main character.
