I couldn't believe the awesome set of books for such an unbelievable price. They are great..
Only disappointment is that some of them were pretty bent, on the covers from the shipment. Couldn't give some of them for gifts due to the condition they arrived in.
Hopefully this can be corrected in the future..

Loved the Praire books, nice to have this compilation of short stories. Can read one story in a few sittings. Great glimpse of the history in the pioneer days, with a Chrisitan slant, and good pure romance. Very well written by various authors. Good reading any time of the year!

I purchased this as a gift and my mom liked it alot. I also purchased some daily bread journals for my worship team and they were very great quality and very affordable which made it possible for me to get them for them. Thank you CBD.

I haven't completely finished the book yet, but the stories I have read are lovely. They are shorter than a whole novel & 9 in one book - great!

Oh my goodness! I loved each one of these stories. Wonderful, heartwarming stories of Gods love in people's lives. It is great for people who have small blocks of time to read short stories. However, I frequently found that once I finished one story I almost always went right into the next story. I really enjoyed them being in the 1800's.
And yes - at this price - buy them as gifts for other women to enjoy. They will thank you.

The 9 Christmas short stories in this collection are outstanding. All the stories have separate characters with the exception of the first and last. I was truly sorry when I finished reading this book because I knew there wouldnt be another short story to follow.
Each story depicted the amazing love that God bestows on us whenever we want him too.
This is truly one of the best books I have ever read ...

From cover to cover absolutely loved this book. Loved how nicely it is made and how 'rich' it feels in my hands. My favorite story was God Jul simply because I have family living in and close to Lindsborg, Kansas. What a neat way to feel what it may have been like those many years ago even if it was fiction. Kudos to all the authors would highly recommend for a 'take me back in time' book.

This is a good book to pick up and read a complete story when you've gone to bed at night. The stories are interesting, and the message of salvation is entwined through each story. Easy, pleasant reading.

Great stories. I do prefer a book where you get to know the characters better, but I enjoyed reading of prairie life and appreciate how much easier we have it today. Good book.

The stories are too short, it's like reading the short discription on the inside of a dust jack of a novel that you are wanting to buy. There is enough action and interest in every story that you will want a longer read.
I'm half way through the book and so far my favourite short story is 'The Christmas Necklace'. It's my kind of story.
Although having too short stories, it's still a great book for your library and a great saving. You can't loose.
