Colleen Coble in her new book Dangerous Depths Book Three in the Aloha Reef series published by Thomas Nelson takes us into the life of Leia.

From the back cover: Sometimes lifes most precious treasure lies at Dangerous Depths.

Leia ditched a promising medical career to settle on a secluded island of Hawaii. She ditched Bane, too, and hes come to the island to find out why. Hes also in search of a fortune rumored to lie offshore. But an act of sabotage that pushes Bane closer to Leia plunges them both into a tangle of emotionjust as a series of threatening events grip the island.

Theft, a friends death, a bizarre intruder, hints of a second treasure . . . and even murderhow can they sort it all out when everyone on the island has something to hide?

Whenever you pick up anything by Ms. Coble you can be sure you will be reading a top-notch exciting story and a wonderful romance. Dangerous Depths is no exception. Sunken treasure, undersea lava flows, a secretive adversary and espionage are all ingredients that Ms. Coble has baked into this clever thriller. Leia and Bane are well drawn characters that I liked a lot. There are many story-lines that Ms. Coble weaves together in this book and each one, by itself, is interesting taken all together and they will keep you hoping. And on top of everything there is a romance. This is a fast-paced read that will keep you guessing as to what is really going on. I am so looking forward to the next book in this series.

Colleen Coble never disappoints! Her characters are well developed and storylines intriguing. Abundant references to local culture and excellent research into the mystery of the Hawaiian islands combine to immerse you in the experience of her characters. An excellent third book in this series.

Love how everything ties together. How her characters show up in each book. This one was a little less interesting , but good still.
