Barbour Publishing Montana Marriages Trilogy

Readers will laugh and cry along with three unique Old West women who carve a life for themselves out of the rugged mountain region of the Montana territory. A quick marriage is the only choice for Cassie Griffin when she is left widowed with child and vulnerable in a town where women are few. Belle Tanner has already had three bad marriages and feels thankful to be widowed again until she meets an ornery drifter. Abby Lind, a white woman raised by the Flathead Indians, teaches a tenderhearted cattleman what tough really is.

This is such a great, emotional book full of promise and redemption! I started off not liking Wade at all, he seemed utterly irredeemable, but Connealy proves that no one is past God's reach, and by the end of this book I find myself having hope for his character. I love Cassie's progression as not just a person, but wife overall, Red was the very best teacher and absolutely God-sent. (Give me!) I love their steady, deep love and the humour Connealy used to pepper and spice their journey from newly-weds to proud believers. I've found myself a new favourite Christian author and cannot wait to read more!

I love a western story - Montana Rose- this has horses and ranchers and spurs and tough women struggling in their time. Tells about how the women band together through hard times in marriage, business & weather. Men who maintain their integrity and the ones who are rough around the edges until they witness the love of God. Some violence, hate & jealousy - balanced by the perserverance to serve a forgiving God. Scriptures and prayers quoted throughout the book.

I loved the way the three stories flowed. You can still see
the same characters picked up in each story.
I was sorry to see the end of the book, I just wanted to
keep on reading.

I enjoy reading her books because she makes her characters face difficult circumstances. I enjoy seeing how they overcome and are victorious Christians.

I love all books by Mary Connealy! This is a great series of western adventure mixed with a sense of humor. Please, Mary Conneally! Write a series about Belle's daughters!
