Barbour Publishing How to Study the Bible Illustrated: Full-Color Expanded Edition of the 500,000-Copy Bestseller

How to Study the Bible is a concise, easy-to-understand guide to God's Word--and now it's illustrated in full color!

This book provides an overview of personal Bible study for the layperson. Long-time Bible teacher Robert M. West gives insight into the types, tools, and techniques of personal study, offering both practical guidance and encouragement to pursue the command of 2 Timothy 2:15 ("Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth").

Covering topics such as the inductive method, word studies, commentaries, dictionaries, and concordances, How to Study the Bible Illustrated also emphasizes the personal benefits of private Bible time.

Don't waste your money. Lots of glitz little content. I am a pastor and wanted to give something to people to use as a short hand guide to give them some specific helps. This was a book of generalities and little specifics.
